In the shadow of our celibacy, a burden untold,

Heartbreak looms close, a tale of sorrow unfolds.


Our tears flow without reason, an enigma profound,

An expedient facade, revealing a silence-bound.


A plea for moments, a solitary retreat,

Yet within lies a quandary, a challenge to meet.


Caring ceased, emotions in tumultuous flight,

Beyond comprehension, an intensity takes its height.


Silence, a relentless force, crushing our core,

Only weariness prevails; we yearn for something more.


Is the pain a masquerade, a pretense we bear?

Where resides a love that transcends the pain we share?
