THE ENVIOUS

THE ENVIOUS

Allah protects everyone from those who harbor envy and hatred because such individuals believe it's acceptable to foster resentment between spouses, harbor anger towards others' children out of jealousy, sow discord in relationships, and revel in the misfortune of financially stable individuals, ultimately causing harm to others.

These people derive pleasure from poisoning others' lives and take pride in mocking them, but in doing so, they inadvertently burn themselves in their own fire. Allah exposes the consequences of their malicious deeds, as the destructive outcomes of their actions are evident, and they are aware that the poison they have sown is self-destructive.

Despite this awareness, they blame others and consider themselves oppressed, resorting to taunts and insults without reason, causing harm only to themselves. However, no one tolerates unnecessary pressure and abuse for an extended period.

In the process, these individuals instill self-hatred in the hearts of others and, instead of admitting their mistakes, choose to embarrass others. Love and compassion for oneself cannot be cultivated through insults, cursing, taunts, and swearing.

Engaging in such behavior, whether by turning good deeds into something negative or humiliating others at social gatherings, is a mistake that hinders the development of genuine love. People naturally distance themselves from these attitudes.

Regardless of the relationship, individuals dislike those who constantly consider themselves superior and disdain others. Every person has rights as a human being, as Allah has endowed everyone with emotions and feelings.

In prayer, we implore Allah to prevent the spreading of poison in the lives of others, so that one's behavior doesn't drive people away, leading to a mindset of perpetual oppression.

May Allah safeguard everyone from envious and spiteful individuals. Ameen.
